SEI is a leading global provider of wealth-management solutions. It spent the past decade pioneering an adaptable, end-to-end solution for accounting systems called the SEI Wealth Platform. In other words, it made a really smart, complex tool to help a very elite audience.
For the platform to succeed, it would need a proper introduction, so we interviewed CEOs to understand where they saw risk. Acknowledging a need for change wasn’t the barrier, it was knowing where to start. The CEOs wanted a vested partner—not a tech vendor—to realize their vision.
Story developed a hyper-targeted strategy, including a custom partnership with Fortune magazine, to guarantee the attention of C-Suite decision makers.
We then launched a provocative campaign that questioned legacy systems in clear terms and humanized SEI’s digital platform with personal stories, positioning SEI’s employees and its technology as critical to surviving the future.
