Growing up in suburban Detroit, listening to DEVO, the B-52s and Talking Heads, Steve became fascinated with science and art. He earned a computer science degree from the University of Michigan, pursued his photography interests at the Art Center College of Design, then traveled to New York to become an early adopter of the web. Today, Steve lives in Connecticut with his wife and two small children—and he still plays the guitar and listens to DEVO!
