At a Boston Red Sox game in 2001, the empty group of seats behind Jon were filled by a camera crew filming a commercial spot for the MasterCard “Priceless” campaign. The actors in the commercial sat next to him, and for about four innings the camera panned back and forth between him and the actors. He was given a new fitted Red Sox hat as payment.

Once, Jon and two friends were lucky enough to get backstage passes to a summer radio station concert in MA. Later that night, they exited the backstage area right into a throng of screaming “fans.” Of course, the fans didn’t know who Jon and his friends were and just assumed they were another boyband. Not to disappoint anyone, all three of them signed autographs, took pictures and gave hugs to their new fans.
