You will be expected to become expert in your client’s business, acting as an extension of their communications planning and marketing teams. The role requires solid financial capabilities, good team management, strong presentation skills and strategic insight. You will be a senior member of staff and will be expected to contribute to new business development on an ad-hoc basis.

    • Hold regular debrief sessions to ensure an ever improving internal process and product – these should be held upon completion of every project of a significant size
    • Extend the breadth of our contact with the client wherever possible – ensuring we are known and our offer understood by senior marketing personnel in all relevant departments
    • Create and maintain good working relationships with other key agencies to ensure Story is always abreast of all communications and marketing activity beyond our own output
    • Ultimately responsible for P&L on accounts, the AD will ensure that regular meetings are held with project managers in order to monitor spend against projects
    • Understanding budgeting and forecasting procedures, and ensuring accurate forecasting across your account(s) for the monthly management accounts process. The AD will draw information from project managers but is ultimately responsible for budgeting and forecasting
